For over 20 years, the company has been a benchmark of quality in the import—and now production—of hosiery, underwear, and cleaning supplies. "Conte Elegant" continuously maintains its reputation and leading position in the Armenian market by staying current with industry trends and delivering only premium products.
Founding and Early Stages The company was founded in 2005 by Vigen Avetisyan. What began as a small enterprise operating with limited resources has evolved into one of the industry's leaders. From day one, thanks to the organized leadership of a skilled manager, the company established a clear operational style and core principles. Over the years, these values have been refined to ensure a competitive and high-quality product range for the consumer.
Partnerships and Market Position For nearly 30 years, "Conte Elegant" LLC has collaborated with the Belarusian company "Conte Spa" as its official representative in Armenia, offering all its famous brands. The company holds a 50–60% market share in the hosiery sector.
"Conte Elegant" is also the official representative of the Israeli company Bagi in Armenia. Bagi specializes in high-efficiency household chemicals and cleaning agents, including eco-friendly, phosphate-free products enriched with Dead Sea minerals. The product line includes over 120 items: laundry detergents, kitchen and bathroom cleaners, as well as cleaning accessories like sponges and textiles. Its most famous product is Shumanit. Exported to the USA, Russia, and CIS markets, Bagi products follow the "Easy Cleaning" principle, designed to save time and effort.
Retail Network The first specialized store opened in Yerevan in 2005, followed by a second in 2008, featuring hosiery, lingerie, and loungewear. As the first specialized lingerie retailer in Armenia, the company introduced a new shopping culture. Along with the Conte brand, the stores feature prominent European brands such as Nikol Djumon, Key, V.O.V.A, Gisela, Cornette, Lisca, Visavis, Mariposa, and Alla Buone. Since 2017, in partnership with the European company Queen Lingerie, four franchise stores have opened in Yerevan Mall, Rio Mall, Metronome, and Megamall, with retail spaces ranging from 70 to 110 sqm.
SAVA Brand and Production Innovations In 2021, the company launched its private label, SAVA, specializing in the development and production of modern, high-efficiency cleaning agents. The range includes detergents, cleaners, bleaches, disinfectants, and hygiene products. The entire production process is overseen by professional engineers and chemical technologists to ensure premium quality. Equipped with modern, constantly upgraded technology, the production facilities meet international standards, offering eco-friendly products with instant results. By using high-quality European raw materials and fragrances, SAVA aims to provide European-standard products to the Armenian consumer at competitive prices.
Achievements and Awards The company has frequently received top local and international honors from the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia, the National Association of Consumers, and various national award ceremonies. It has also been recognized at business forums in Armenia, Georgia, and Russia. For several consecutive years, the Conte and Bagi brands have earned Grand Prix and "Trade Leader" awards, while the SAVA brand recently received the highest honor as "Best Product of the Year."
